I became a cyborg at IFA KATIE COLLINS'S BLOG03 SEPTEMBER 15 Hannes Sjoblad.... "...the benefits are endless -- it is a simple way to carry in your body what today's wearable tech carries, it allows you to have constant access to your data, to make payments, to log your health" Using a chip implant as an encryption and locking device -- "my physical self can take some control over my digital self." Office puts chips under staffs skin...

"...but no doubt more sophisticated chips will soon replace wearable technology like fitness bands or payment devices, and we will get used to being augmented. All sorts of things are possible - whether it becomes culturally acceptable to insert technology beneath our skin is another matter...."Rory Cellan-Jones Technology correspondent 29 January 2015 The rise of the Swedish cyborgs

"The real question is whether they can work better if they are on our skin or inside us, and one of the big advantages is that we can't forget them like we can a phone or a wristband." ..David Wood, head of the London Futurists.
Documenting skin tags.
The androgynous adolescent body has been chosen as the canvas for the different variations of Skin tags as it is a body in limbo – not child, not adult and often not a voice that is heard when it speaks – with reference to the Cassandra theory and the works pet name being lady Cassandra. The lighting in this shoot is soft and warm – homely and comforting - reassuring and nurturing in its warm colour pallet - this is in stark contrast to the alien skin tag on the throat - a vulnerable part of the body and the housing of our voice box. Is the skin tag a bandage? Is it holding in a secret? Or is it a threat? Harmful with its intentions?

"I don't use technology and I don't wear technology. I am technology, and it's this feeling of being technology that also makes me feel like a cyborg," he said.

Let’s think about the cybernetic future of human mankind. We could have brain implants that could improve memory or any kind of cognitive skills. We could have implanted magnets or RFID chips in our fingers to replace passwords and keys. We could have exoskeletons boosting our strength, we could be faster, jump higher so we could augment all different kinds of human capabilities. Let’s see what kind of real-life cyborgs we know of today who might show a good example of where we should find a balance between using technologies with our body but remaining a human being.
